Musical Expressions LLC

Musical Expressions LLC is Owned and Operated by Catherine Sturdivant, in October 2007, to bring music to all persons in the Triad. The first clients recieved music therapy services in November of 2007. Her Vision for the company is to bring muisc to all persons whether its a child with autism, a person wanting private music lessons, a group of parents wanting a music class, a business looking for entertianment or a couple looking for the perfect live music for their wedding.

Catherine is an professional saxophinist with over 20 years experience. 

 Musical Expressions, LLC is owned and by opreated by Catherine Sturdivant. She is a registered Music Together teacher and a Board Certified Music Therapist.

Catherine holds a B.S in Music Business from Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, NC, and Equivalency in Music Therapy from Radford University in Radford, VA. She also holds a Masters degree in Special Education from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ.

Music has always been a part of her life. Her mother says she's been singing before she could even talk. She has always been involved in music in some form. She started out singing then she got introduced to the saxophone from her fourth grade music teacher and she hasn't put the sax down yet. She went own to major in music with her primary insturment being Saxophone but playing many others such as flute, clarinet, guitar, and piano.
